Pam MARONE, Ph.D.

Director of Toxicology

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Dr. Marone is Director of Toxicology for Product Safety Laboratories. She has 20 years of experience in pathology, and biophysical structural characterization, drug development and delivery. Following receiving her Ph.D. from the Department of Pathology at Columbia University, Dr. Marone was a scientist in the Department of Reproductive Toxicology and Teratology at SmithKline Corporation. Her basic research interests progressed to structural protein/drug development characterization using X-Ray scattering synchrotron techniques in the Department of Chemistry at Argonne National Laboratories. Prior to joining PSL, Dr. Marone was a Director of Imaging & Biochemical Analysis at Biodelivery Sciences International where she was responsible for the preclinical safety evaluation and structural characterization of a novel, patented drug delivery platform. She has extensive experience in histopathology, regulatory affairs, developmental endocrinology and protein crystallization/analysis.
