Walter NEWMAN

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Mr. Newman is the Director of Marketing/Sales for Product Safety Labs and has been responsible for sales at PSL since 1985. He has over 30 years experience in research and research management in the personal care, OTC and pharmaceutical industries. At NYU Medical Center, Mr. Newman conducted several investigations of the effects of gamma radiation on enzyme structure and function. He later studied the effects of conditioners, cleansers and sunlight on hair structure and properties while at Bristol Myers in NJ. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles on hair and its properties and on enzyme structure. Mr. Newman is a member of several scientific societies, including the American Chemical Society, the Dermal Clinical Evaluation Society, the Mid-Atlantic Society of Toxicology and the Society of Cosmetic Chemists. In 1995, he received a Distinguished Service Award from the Chemical Producers and Distributors Association (CPDA).
