Coronary Artery Occlusion / Ligation

Infarct size can be measured in a dog model of LAD or LCX coronary artery occlusion and reperfusion. Times for ischemia and eperfusion can be customized. Infarct size can also be measured in rats following coronary ligation and reperfusion. Infarct size and area at risk are measured using standard dye exclusion and nitroblue tetrazolium chloride.
